NEW REVIEW - Easy and useful
I have logic studio and pro tools and it works great with both. it is fairly easy to set up and use, not to mention it looks great. this control surface definitely puts a human aspect back into fades.

Good, but didn't work with Cubase Studio 4
I had really high hopes for this product. I am using a Macintosh computer with Cubase Studio 4 and a Presonus Firestudio Project. I wanted something to supplement my mousework for mixing and mastering. It was the choice between this and the Alphatrack. I wanted this because that way I could have all Presonus products. But what do you know, the thing didn't work! Apparently Presonus didn't see it fit to make a driver for my particular computer/software configuration. So I ended up with the Alphatrack. Honestly, this product has a better build quality and is a lot easier to use, but ultimately the compatibility issue was a dealbreaker. Also, the Alphatrack is powered by USB, whereas the fader on this unit is powered by an adapter.

Easy to use if your using the right software.
This is a great product....if you use the right software. After being available for over a year it still only works with a couple different DAWs.
It worked for me in Sonar after installing the sonar patch from the presonus website. Recently I decided to switch to Ableton live and the faderport does not support Live.
I've also seen Sonar crash on me a few times when using the faderport. After this happened sonar would not detect the faderport again untill i rebooted.
I also think the buttons on the port are a little hard to press down. The powered fader is awesome though.
