The Pork Pie 20th Anniversary Drum Throne is built strong to support large drummers. Features a thick, comfortable bicycle-style seat, which reduces leg fatigue. The double-braced legs allow for sturdy support, and the orange sparkle sides and a black suede top give this drum throne great looks as well as comfort. Until you've sat on a Pork Pie you haven't known true comfort.

I have used quite a few different thrones and thought that pain was just something i'd have to deal with. I've used the pearl, dw, tama, and other thrones and they have all been literal pains in the butt. This throne is awesome!! I'v never sat on a more comfortable throne, not even the rockn socs. It doesnt have air ride, but you wont need it. Just as a warning, because it's cloth and not vinal, i reccomend getting fabreez and spraying it after each session just so it doesnt start to collect the smell of your sweat, i saw another reviewer had that problem, so far, after 2 months of use i have not. Great throne, ignore the price, well worth the money, i'll never buy another throne again
This throne is very comfortable, but the problems i started to have after the first few weeks were awful. After thinking that I had made a wise decision of buying a pork pie throne instead of a roc n soc, I was proven wrong, while practicing for many hours at a time, you will find that the throne will start to soak up your perspiration, and the throne will will smell horribly. Also after a while with this throne, you will start to have pain's in your hamstring's. So after reconciliation, I went back to GC and bought a roc n so c throne and after 6 weeks, I am not having any of the problems I had before.
I've had this throne for about a week now. I love it. It is really comfortable and built like a tank. It's got a super thick padded seat. Super strong metal. This thing is HEAVY duty. It wore me out just carrying it to the car. I got it at a great price. It's right up there with any roc n' soc. I do wish it sat about 2" lower but I can get use to it. All in all it's great, super strong, really comfortable, and it looks awesome. I think any drummer would love this throne.
I just bought this throne yesterday. AMAZING! I heard so many people say that Pork Pie Thrones were the best and most comfortable on the market. But I never experienced one myself. I've had a sound percussion throne, and although it did serve its function, it is not a Pork Pie Throne. I can play forever and my back and legs do not hurt anymore. This has got to be my favorite part of my kit Now how many people can say that...
