  • Sitting on a Cloud

    The Pork Pie Percussion drum throne is the ultimate in drumming expirence. I can sit and play forever without any sort of cramps or discomforts from the throne. I promise the first time you sit on a pork pie....your sold! Its like "sitting on a cloud"

    this thorn has pretty much saved my drumming courier, im in 4 diffrent metal bands so i pretty much am ripping all day every day, and some how i managed 2 rip 2 ligaments in my right leg and i and i got tendenidos in my left leg. its a huge bummer but my physical therapist told me it was due to my old throne. so i did some research on some and found this i bout it after sitting in 1 at guitar center and now my legs are perfectly fine. iv never been more comfortable or happy thanks pork pie

    I've been using my Pork Pie throne for 8 years. @ 6' 3" 230 lbs and a sufferer of chronic back pain, comfort and ergonomic support are very important to me. I've owned some excellent thrones over the years, but was never satisfied with any of them. I found the bouncing action of the gas charged thrones to be a distraction while playing. I found the pivotting action of the Roc-N-Soc motion throne equally distracting. Prior to buying the Pork Pie, I had been using only thrones with sculpted seats and back rests. This one is so much more comfortable than any I've tried before or since. I don't experience the back fatigue I used to encounter after long sessions while using other thrones. I find the references to the Pork Pie as a "heavy" throne to transport amusing. Try lugging around a throne with 4 double braced legs and a backrest, or worse, a Roc-N-Soc motion throne, then talk to me about "heavy". This is just a really comfortable, sturdy throne at an extremely reasonable price.
