This snare suits my style of playing perfectly. It has a nice, clean, crisp pop to it. The deepness of the snare not only looks good, but it adds some crispness to it. I have the 7"x14" Black Glass model, which i would recommend to anyone. I mainly bought this one because it was the deepest Pork Pie Maple snare, and also the widest. The finish is beautiful, and the hardware matches perfectly.
Snare sounds great. Good hardware to keep it in tune even under the hardest beatings. Snare sounds great with the heads tuned very tight as how i have them. However i had to replace the snare after the connectors broke. Other than that its been great and sounds great. Nice heavy popping sound. Looks flashy as well too.
this is my third pork pie snare, Pork pie knows how to make drums,This snare is without a doubt incredible, I highly recommend this snare to anyone. Sounds so good. am using Remo Ambassador Coated on top and bottom Remo ambassador clear. This snare can be tuned for any type of music and sound. And it looks great too, from its awesome finish to the black hardware.
