The Pork Pie Little Squealer Beech Snare Drum is made with the same eye on quality as the rest of the Little Squealer line. This Pork Pie snare drum has the attack of maple with the warmth and body of beech.
I saw this snare drum at guitar center a few months ago and decided to buy it. I just finished recording and sounds awesome!! It has the depth and fatness you would get from a 6.5x14 snare almost "jazzy". Depending on the type of heads you put on it determines the sound. I was able to get a fat, thick, pop with a bit of wanted ring to it which was perfect with the music. A less staccto snare more for longer rolls and fills really sound amazing. Maintenence is like all other snare drums and incrediably durable dropped twice without ANY cracks to the shell. This is WORTH the money.

When I first saw this Pork Pie snare, it didn't really jump out to me. But once a heard it, i was very suprised. This Beech Pork Pie has an amazing sound for a snare. I had to tune it just right and put a moongel on it but once everything was set it was amazing. I use it as my main snare and i think it was money well spent.
