Pork Pie installed a top layer of ultraheavy-duty therapeutic liquid Gel over their standard high-grade memory foam on this drum throne. This formula in seat design significantly reduces the fatigue experienced after even a couple hours of playing, because it does not compress or bottom out like standard foam seats do. It is supported by a heavy-duty double-braced base.
Very well made - it just sinks in when you sit on it and the gel is a nice addition. I particularly like the threaded seat rod for a quick adjustment. Online buying was real easy and quick delivery too!
I had back pain playing after long periods of time but not anymore. This throne is like a hug for you butt. The price is steep but its worth every penny :)
The gel throne did not work for me. It's like sitting on a dome that is always in motion. When I extend my arms, the gel moves, throwing me off balance. Plus, the throne won't go very low; the seat is so thick that even on the lowest setting, it's too high.
