NEW REVIEW - Varigrip ROCKS!
This thing ROCKS! I didn't realize just how outta shape my fingers were until I bought the Varigrip finger exerciser. It has really improved my playing ability. I recommend this for everybody that plays a stringed instrument. It is well worth the money. A samll investment for the lifelong pleasure of music.

It works.
I've had mine for a few months now, and bends that once seemed impossible are are a piece of cake. This cool little device comes with chart showing different hand exercises to improve certain aspects of your playing. I started with the picking hand endurance stretch. Now I can downpick through a whole song, say "Master of Puppets". However, I find that the callus builder surface only does a good job of maintaining calluses, rather than forming them.

Best exercise tool out there.
The Varigrip is an amazing tool. It literally is all the Gripmasters plus the Ruff Rider caps all in one. As someone who's transitioning from a beginner to an intermediate it helped immensely for finger strength and speed. I'm now able to change chords way more easily and even used it on my right hand for faster and more precise finger picking. I highly recommend the Varigrip to anyone looking to get stronger and faster in their fingers.

Excellent exerciser
I had no Idea what to expect from an exerciser. I am really impressed with the comfort of the unit I also like the simulated string/calous part. I was suprised at how weak my fingers actually are it has really worked my fingers and thumb and I believe this will cure my issue with not being able to do bar chords very well. I would totally recommend this for anyone who wants to have something to exercise your fingers. I took it shopping with me and plan on having it in class at college too. I was hoping for something this good when woshing I had something to work on finger strength with when either I wasn't at home or was watching a movie and couldn't play my guitar.so far I am really impressed with this but reccomend maybe putting some 2 in 1 oil on the slider parts as to not have issues like another costomer had.
I think for the price it is an excellent buy plus it is so compact you can keep it in your pocket and it is agjustable so once I get stronger I wont need to buy another one i can just stiffen the spring tension. It also works great for doing finger stretch by using 1 and 4 with the 1 and 2 finger and so on I noticed a burn right away when I tried that so I know it is working great. I will post another review after a couple weeks of using to add any +'s or -'s of the item.

good product for a good price
In all, i am very happy with this product. I use it everyday for a 30 minute ride to and from work. I havent had any problems and i can actually notice how much stronger my fingers are after only a week.

Great for school
i go to college and i found this great for in classes. Rather then lugging my guitars around all day i leave them in my room. I just bring this to put in my pocket and tinker with it all the time. I notice the difference when playing. But really i use it to tinker with in class an in between class.

Great Hand Exerciser!
This product really helped build muscles on my hands. I also use it on my right hand for faster picking. I used this product for about a month and I noticed quite a difference in my hands. I noticed that I can pick faster, and my fingers could play fast licks that I would barely do when I just started using it. Also barre chords that used to be annoying and hard to do are like a piece of cake. The callus builder is useful, but I use it in a different way since the exercise directions for the calluses didn't quite help. If you want a difference in hand strength, get this fun exerciser.

It is okay. Could be better
I have had mine for a little over a month and at first it was good. I did notice increased hand strength and finger speed. However after using it for a bit, the plastic shafts of the fingers started to develop grooves in them and now it has a tendency to bind up and is no longer smooth and fluid moving. You expect things that are used to wear out but not in a months time. I gave it 3 stars because it was good at first. I have just ordered the grip master though.

so far so good
i bought this yesterday and so far it has done a bit for me, my fingers definetly feel stronger. i would recomenned this instead of the gripmaster because of the ajusting part that the gripmaster doesnt have. the callus thing on the bottom feels kinda cheap but it feels like its working. its a good workout... i am using it right now XD. its very addicting. buy one.

Slightly Better than the Gripmaster!
I bought this a few weeks ago.
I have to say the Adjustable Tensions are a Bonus.
I also like the built in Callus Builder and the fact that is User Friendly for Either Hand to Use.
I am Still working with it but I Feel it is a Slightly Better product than the Gripmaster I Purchased when it First had come out.
I Hope this will Strengthen my Pinky to bend my .012 Acoustic 1st String up to the Fifth String like my Gripmaster does.
