Planet Waves speaker cable has connectors with 8 "banana-like" compression springs in the 1/4" shank of the plug that compress, making excellent contact, while providing additional mechanical holding force. Near-perfect frequency response, double-insulated/double-shield coverage, and the lowest handling noise of any cables on the market. The plug is soldered, covered with an internal copper shield tube, and then over-molded, first with a rigid PVC to encapsulate the solder joints, and then with a flexible polymer for unprecedented strain relief.
