  • Great Bass Strap and V Guitar Strap

As reviewed by zedthewizard on 10/19/2006

The Planet Waves Polypropelyne Strap for Bass is three inches wide and has a extra shoulder padding to carry the extra weight of a Bass Guitar. It's so simple, it works! The Planet Waves Polypropelyne Strap for Bass is a steal for the price of $19.99 considering the quality features and construction. I use it on a Lakland 44-01 Skyland Bass. I also found myslef using it with a Washburn Custom V with the wide strap post positioned on the back of the guitar at the bass of the neck; just as with the Tony Iommi Epiphone SG. My guitar straps wouldn't hold fast, however, this particular Bass Strap worked great. Eventually, I did put on some Schaller Strap Locks, but the Planet Waves Polypropelyne Strap for Bass was a great compromise. I could also see using this Bass Strap for heavier guitars. Three Inches Wide, Plenty Of Shoulder Padding, Doesn't Slip Off The Instrument, Can Work With A Guitar, and The Price Is Right . . . $19.99.

  • Great for a heavy axe, but...

As reviewed by Vinnie Vidavicci on 10/7/2008

I picked up a Les Paul recently and decided to buy this strap to deal with weight issues that LP's can cause. I was very happy with it at first, but then I noticed that the straps slips through the buckle. I can start a set with the guitar right where I want it, but then it begins to drop and every ten minutes I have stop to put things back in place. This being said, I think it's still worth the money I paid for it.

  • Comfortable Strap!

As reviewed by Dulcimerist on 3/27/2007

I've owned this excellent strap for a long time, using it on my old Synsonics guitar. It's so comfortable, and I love it! Although I'm converting to bass, I'll leave this strap on my guitar, grabbing the new Planet Waves Dare Strap for my bass.
