I know they are just strap buttons... but for my 5 bucks you can't do better! These strap buttons are well made and sturdy. I am impressed with Planet Waves in general... throw some money at their cables... you won't be disappointed.
Bought a used '97 Jackson Professional DX2 which had no strap buttons at all. None of the local stores carried Jackson OEM ones, and had heard Planet Waves stuff is great. The strap stays in place like a champ...but when I bought black ones, the "black" is more like some kind of grease. I've tried to get rid of it a few hundred times, and it still rubs off on anything it touches. I have no idea if they were powder coated and never baked or what, but it's annoying!
