The DDJ-WeGO is a small-sized, lightweight DJ controller with the looks and style to fit right into any setup. This slimline controller has all the features you need to get your hands on your favorite songs from your digital library. This is an ideal controller for those who are just entering the art of DJing, or just looking to rock the neighborhood block party.
Take control of your DJ performance with various lights and effects. With the “JOG FX” feature, users can combine multiple effects and control these simultaneously with the JOG dial. There is also a “PULSE CONTROL” feature that produces DJ performances with multi-colored LED lights built into the JOG dial, enabling individualistic performances by mixing diverse sound arrangements with various colors.
The strength of lights illustrates how the beat of the music being mixed is going out of sync. This allows the user to visually check that beats are in sync and change the tempo as necessary.
Red light flows in the JOG direction when loading music, providing at-a-glance confirmation of the fact that music has been loaded successfully.
DJ performances are produced with the addition of various animations to suit changes in sound, such as blending of light on top of the JOG dial, etc., depending on the parameters of effects that have been operated.
The “DDJ-WeGO” line-up consists of five body colors to suit various tastes and interiors, etc. In addition, the multi-colored LED on the JOG dial and the GUI interface of the enclosed DJ software can be color-customized to suit the user’s own preference.
The device has a sideline between the control parts and the rounded bottom case and is compact in size, so can be installed without taking up much space and can easily be carried to party venues and friends’ houses, etc.
The DDJ-WeGO comes with a copy of “Virtual DJ Limited Edition” DJ software that enables diverse DJ play with countless effects and features such as loops, samplers and 4-channel mixing. There is also support for various other pieces of DJ software, so customers can choose the software that suits their style.

Comments about Pioneer DDJ-WEGO DJ Controller:
I bought this controller about a year ago, looking to become a bit more serious after getting into mixing my music on my iPad. Having tactile controls really makes a difference as compared to using a touchscreen interface. The device has held up well, and I have had no issues with functionality whatsoever. The build on this device is really good for the price point. The jog wheels feel more professional than any of the other entry-level controllers I tried. The buttons are responsive, and have a satisfying "click" to them when pressed. The faders (while being plastic) have a good amount of resistance to them, and glide smoothly. The lights on the device are cool, but I found them to be distracting when trying to beat match by ear (the jog wheel lights respond when you have the music in sync). The device comes with Virtual DJ LE, which I am not a fan of. Luckily, the device is compatible with Traktor, DJay, and Serato which I much prefer. My main gripe about this unit is the space-saving design using the jog wheels to control effects. Basically, when you have an effect enabled, the jog wheels no longer control the playback of the track, but the effect parameters, making it impossible to do spin backs or scratching with the effects enabled. Also, there are only 4 cue point buttons per deck, and I prefer 6+ per track. There is another design issue ? Instead of the RCA and headphone jacks being on the back/front of the unit like most controllers/mixers, they are located on the SIDES. For my setup, this is awkward, as I use 2 other controllers on either side, and have to allow and inch or more between them to allow for jacks and cords. For the beginner DJ who mostly wants to mix tracks for their own house parties, or just wants to have fun with their music collection, this is a great purchase/gift. I grew out of this device within 6 months of mixing, and have upgraded to a more modular turntable setup. I'll still break out the WeGo if I'm heading to a friends house, as I just have to grab this and my laptop and I'm good to go. tl:dr ? Great beginner controller. Space saving design comes at a cost of control.
