Big disappoiment!
Just like many of the other people who bought these headphones--great sound but the construction around the ball started to crack and eventually broke off within 6 months of purchasing them. The product is very over priced.

great bass
Great sound from the earphones especially the bass, plastic isn't very strong, I recommend a hard case storage container to protect investment and wearing them properly is a must, don't try to look cool with these cause they'll break.

Will
I used these cans extensively for a little over a year with no complaints. A couple of weeks ago the plastic around ball joint on the right side started to crack and had to tape them up to keep the earpiece from falling out. This is a common problem with many headphones but I would certainly suggest getting the PG extended warranty on these just so you are not out the money after a year or two.

Poor Construction But Great Sound
Over all I do think they are great headphones and sound awsome. But in less than six months of using them 3 to 4 nights a week one of the headphone broke off will i was working at the club, mad the rest of the night kinda rough. Might have to get another set of the Sony MDR-7506s they lasted almost 7 years.

Not bad, just adapted!
I have 2 pairs of these headphones. The 1st pair had the same problem as everyone else but it was 18 mos. before they cracked. So I purchased a 2nd pair w/the warranty. I cut the the line and frame away from the 1st and use the cable side (cracked side) for mobile work and the 2nd pair for resident work.

Great Headphones! Awesome Sound!
I have owned and gigged with these headphones for 6 months, have used and abused them and have never had any problems. They fold and are easy to store. The sound quality is totally amazing, I use them in my studio as a producer as well as to DJ. They have a nice snug fit and are adjustable and feel comfortable. The 1/8incn to 1/4inch adapter screws in place so it won't fall off. Did I mention the sound quality is amazing! The closed ear design is great for blocking outside sounds! What more can I say, highly recommended!

Superb But Delicate
Soundwise these headphones are amazing, perfect for beatmatching in loud clubbing/party environments. They have a nice snug fit and will not fall off and are easy to adjust to anyones head!
As far as quality, these headphones are delicate...but if you treat them right and don't abuse them, put them away when your not using them and don't just dump them wherever, they will be fine and not break!
If you are rough with them, they will break!

best sound hands down, durabilty questionable but is with all headphones of the caliber..... I have techs break in a shorter time frame than my pioneers
great sound, questionable durability..... mine fell apart in 8 mos i super glued them back and no problems since..... Pioneer makes the best headphones hands down..... no other produces sustained bass like the pioneers....... So heres to you pioneer....... I'll never go another direction

Not bad at all
I would change only two things about these headphones. I would add a shoulder pad, or at least a hole where one could be mounted like Pioneer's midrange headphones, the SEDJ-5000. I'd also construct out of a little stronger material. The plastic cracked at the joint on mine. They still function but I have to be much more careful not to make the crack worse or the earphone will fall off.
