Review for CDJ-200

Before purchasing this product, I was wondering wether I'd regret buying it after some time when I get better at being a DJ. So, I was wondering if I should wait longer and spend more money on a CDJ-800mk2. But when I decided to purchase the CDJ-200, my point of view changed completely. Basically, the only thing that the CDJ-800mk2 has that the 200 doesn't is scratch simulation. Besides that, you have everything else; plus, three effects (Jet, Zip, Wah). So, if you're a beginner, like me, or on a budget, like me, then the CDJ-200 is a perfect purchase. You won't regret buying it, because it has everything you need.

Buy Denon

I have owned 5 sets of dj equipment to this point all tabletop cd players. This was my my second set before i purchesed the "denon dn-s1000", the quality of this deck is still a standered but i dont think it surpases that of the denons. the features are nice there are some useless buttons that i feel were put there just to fill space that they easily could have interpreted to one such as the repeat buttons on the top left. I think for the same price, more functions, better feel and a more reliable player the denon is definatly something to look into.

Great set up for the beginner

I'm a beginner at the DJ thing and I love these decks. The "how to" is quite easy, allowing me to quickly jump into the "practice makes perfect" phase. The looping mechanism built into the deck makes just listening to music more fun and can help as you practice your skills. The effects are nice, though I don't use them often. About the only thing this deck can't do is scratch. But if you're a beginner and looking for a good system to start out on, I recommend these highly!! Awesome value for the affordable price!!

Pioneer is AMAZING

This Cd player is great for the price. It would be nice if it had a panel that could show the menus for scrolling through MP3s though. The sound quality is amazing, and the ease of use of this machine is unbelievable. The jog wheel encorporates three functions, and this CD player has an automatic Beat counter. It can change the tempo, and you can do that manually. It can cue songs and it has a CD slot, for easy cd playing. This CD player is great, and it can be used at any scene, whether it be in the club, at a sweet sixteen or in a cofee bar, it always sounds great.
