  • Good for the money!

As reviewed by Adam on 11/13/2006

The K-3 is good for the money. Pros: -good price -can use double bass pedal(big deal for me) -rugged design -doesn't take up much space at all Cons: -supplied wood beater isn't very responsive and doesn't feel "normal" (I replaced mine with a felt beater which worked much better) -reponse isn't the greatest(you get what you pay for) Overall: a sturdy kick trigger that won't cost an arm and a leg.

  • Good for the Price...

As reviewed by roland420 on 3/6/2007

I was, after much debate, going from an acoustic set to an electronic set. I've been playing for a while, but I will say that is was a nice change...I enjoy playing double-bass, soaring at 16's and in between, tthe two triggers I have a flawless, especially when it needs to be clean...

  • Think twice...

As reviewed by DrumsUK on 12/19/2009

I purchased the K3 Bass Drum Trigger, together with the ALESIS Control Pad, in the hope that my little 'system' would work well. However, ever since I purchased this product, I've been experiencing false/ double triggering (pretty much on a daily basis). I've tried all kinds of configurations and settings but no good. If you're thinking about using this product on a live gig situtaion you might consider a more reliable pad.
