The Pintech Acoustic Drum Trigger can be head- or shell-mounted to provide excellent sensitivity and response. A Kwik Klip mounting system insures that the audio jack stays in place, fastened to any tension rod without adhesives. The drum trigger also uses Pintech's exclusive mounting disc that allows the free-floating chamber to move with the drum head without marring it.

in my band we use these for bunches of things. they make a great contact microphone for amplifying anything from an acoustic string instument to a chunk of industrial metal.
If your thinking of getting this, DON'T!!!!!! I got it thinking it'll do what it's suppose to do... WRONG!!!!!! I put a mic in my kick drum and got the same exact result. every single hit on any drum or cymbal would trigger it. And it's not even a censor, IT'S A MICROPHONE!!!!!! I recorded it, and i could hear the cymbals while hitting the drum that "trigger" was on.
