Comments about Pick Boy Edge, Sharp Tip, Carbon/Nylon Guitar Picks (10-pack):

Used to have the (.88) pick years back and haven't seen one at a music store till today online. I used to use this all the time next to the (Dunlop Tortex Jazz .88) and gotta say they're both amazing. For some reason i still remember how they felt & the tip was a little flexible for chords but firm when picking single notes. Gotta get my hands on these again!

Comments about Pick Boy Edge, Sharp Tip, Carbon/Nylon Guitar Picks (10-pack):

I've been using these picks since 1999. They are high quality, and it takes a LOT of abuse to wear them out. In the event that they wear down, I've found that a nail file is perfect for re-shaping the tip without taking away too much material. They may not seem like it, but they are very flexible- it takes a lot of effort to *break* one. However, they will (as the words "carbon nylon" might suggest) burn like nothing else if you intentionally set them on fire. I have done this, out of curiosity. Oddly enough, they do not "melt". They just burn up, rather quickly.

In terms of "grip" they are better than most, and while they aren't perfect, using a sharp tool to scratch a few "grip lines" into the surface goes a long way.

There was a period where these were a bit of a challenge to find, and I'm glad to be able to find them easily again. They are a bit pricey, but for the money you probably won't find a better guitar pick if the standard flat-pick is your tool of choice. If you like jazz picks, but find them to be a bit small for your taste, these work very well as a substitute.

Comments about Pick Boy Edge, Sharp Tip, Carbon/Nylon Guitar Picks (10-pack):

This pick is near perfect. I've used dozens of picks over the years and this is what I've been looking for. My pick technique is slightly unconventional in that I hold the pick at a larger angle when picking fast in order to get a quicker release. This would sometimes cause the pick to accidentally touch unwanted strings. Jazz picks would fix this but were too small to be of any use to me. This little dandy however is the perfect size. It's slightly larger than jazz picks but smaller than a normal sized pick, plus it has the pointed tip like the jazz picks for great accuracy and speed.

It also has a nice built-in gripping surface. My only complaint is that it doesn't grip enough, but that's just me as my hands get really sweaty.

Comments about Pick Boy Edge, Sharp Tip, Carbon/Nylon Guitar Picks (10-pack):

These picks are great. I play a lot of Red Hot Chili Pepper stuff and I've found that I like the flexibility of the .6 the best for my style. I wouldn't use them for strumming because they are a bit smaller than your average nylon size pick, but they play great and don't slip out of your hand. I didn't think that picks could improve your playing, but when I stumbled across these I was very impressed.
