Maybe you are skeptical as I was about this PA system. But after few weeks of using it I decided it was time to give it a fair review. The speakers and the boxes sound pretty good and they are much better than some other higher priced systems. They can be used with a stand (they come with the stand hole for pole), as monitors or stacked. Nice carpet finish (no plastic, nice wood boxes) and the speaker/horn are good enough for jam/rehearsing (it might work for a gig in a small place but that is not at least the reason I bought it) The 410 has plenty of power, good EQ and even a digital delay (no great but definitely usable) I use this system for amplification of drum machines, guitars and voices. I tried similar and more expensive systems and this one was the best and the price cannot be better.

i'm amazed that there have been no revues saying this yet but, the speakers this package gives you are rated at 80w and the head is rated at 100w. in other words every time i turn this thing up past 5 it cuts out. i called tech support just to make sure mine wasn't defective and sure enough i was told that "thats normal". its just not right to sell unmatched parts in a package that claims to be made to go together, granted i could still buy new speakers that ARE rated for the 100w head but that really shouldn't have to be necessary.

Amazing PA for the money!!!!

By Zach blatt

from Marblehead,Massachussetts

Comments about Phonic Powerpod 410/S710 PA Package:

This PA is a very good starter PA. It is good for a fairly large 200-300 audience. It is very loud and even has delay and echo affects. On box it may look like it only has normal three prong mic input but it also has line mic inputs. This is a great PA

Sweet PA System

By Andrew

from Keizer, Orgeon

Comments about Phonic Powerpod 410/S710 PA Package:

I just bought this PA System and I must say that it sounds pretty awesome. I wasn't sure what to think when I ordered it, when I finally got it I set it up right away. I was suprised how cool it sounds. I havn't played with anyone else yet but from what I hear I think it'll hold up great. Don't take my word for it, get one your self.

Not bad...

By Keith S.

from Buffalo, NY

Comments about Phonic Powerpod 410/S710 PA Package:

Not a bad PA system. I use it at home with a POD X3, mainly for recording monitors and practice, (but I will use it live when I get a band) and I can get a pretty good sound quality. I leave the EQ's at 12... delay feature is also pretty neat. I haven't tried the rec out and tape in yet, though. Microphone quality is good to... Used with a POD X3, I can also get a good volume out of it at about 9:00 - 12:00. I would highly reccommend it for the price.

Good for small stuff

By os1132

from United States

Comments about Phonic Powerpod 410/S710 PA Package:

Over all I am extremely happy with this PA system. I use it for an Open Mic Night at a local bar. The only thing I dont like about this system is that there is no upgrades to it. In order to get a full sound I put both speakers on a stand. You could put one on the floor for a monitor, but then it is not as rich a sound. So, either way you are sacrificing something. You either cant really hear yourself, but the sound is rich, or you use one of the speakers as a monitor on the floor, but now dont have the speaker sound. But, all in all it is a very good peach of equipment. Very easy to operate and very easy to set up. Glad I purchased it.

Great value for the price

By James

from Morristown, NJ

Comments about Phonic Powerpod 410/S710 PA Package:

I don't think there is anything like the Phonic PA system for the price. The sound is great, the setup easy and the pieces look like they can take a beating. I would not use it for a large room, but for a small room at home or a coffee house type of venue, there is plenty of sound. Much better that the Fender/Squire that I had been testing. Great for a couple of vocals and a couple of acoustic instruments. Hghly Recommended!

As a starter kit, perfect

By Enrique

from fresno,CA

Comments about Phonic Powerpod 410/S710 PA Package:

I was a bit skeptical on the power it can deliver and the price to pay. As an upcoming DJ it provided the sound it needed to play salsa, merengue, bachata, and other music to people to dance to. As a person with a budget it was perfect.

Not bad.

By cod3rEd

Comments about Phonic Powerpod 410/S710 PA Package:

Ive been using this for 1 year now, when I do smaller gigs this is my p.a. of choice, I scream alot and the balance is perfect for that, and i do alot of mic swings, ive hit the mix a couple of times and its still working like new,if youre looking to do big venues get a different package, but if your doing like 50-60 person venues this is perfect.

Phonic PA System Reveiw

By Thomas

from somewhere, Virginia

Comments about Phonic Powerpod 410/S710 PA Package:

This is a great product. The P.A. System is small, yet sound great. we use it in a band, use it for vocals and the bass guitar, both sound great, the powerpod, and the speakers are both really great pieces of equitment. the only problem ive had with the set is the mic chord, had to replace it. besides that the pa system is great during practice, its also good for gigs with small crowds.

Great P.A. for the price!!

By Ben

from Fresno, CA

Comments about Phonic Powerpod 410/S710 PA Package:

My band was in need of a P.A. because what we had currently been using was having serous issues. We were on an extreme budget, so the price of this P.A. stood out. When it got here we were surprised on the speakers that came with it at first. They were a pretty decent size, nothing that would like blow up walls but they werent as small as we thought. When we set everything up, surprisingly the mics were completely crystal clear through it. It gets pretty loud to. I dont care about what the other reviews say, you can hear this thing over my full stack pretty clear...it gets the job done pretty good. This is a great buy, but as always if you have the money for something else why settle for less?

Another Satisfied Customer

By RockerWife

from Morgan Hill, CA.

Comments about Phonic Powerpod 410/S710 PA Package:

I bought this system for my husband, a guitarist. So far, it's been great! The casing is of good quality and the sound is clean and LOUD! I sang through it and I have to say, I was very impressed. This is the first piece of equipment I've purchased that didn't put me in debt. I would recommend this PA to anyone. The price is right...so come on down!

Great for a practice p.a. or acoustic gig.

By Bart G

from St.Louis Mo.

Comments about Phonic Powerpod 410/S710 PA Package:

We use this for a 5 piece rock band practices. We needed something cheap yet loud enough with little to no feedback, and this was it! We have 2 guitar players with half stacks, full drums, bass gtr. We actually had to tell our singer to turn it down a little! We really don't use the onboard echo at all, it's o.k. sounding but gets lost in the mix. Haven't tried the mic yet but looks fair. The EQ has only high and low controls which is fine. We leave them flat @ 12 o'clock. The cables look a bit thin and on the cheap side but at least they were included and work great! The monitors have a plastic plate where you plug in but are otherwise sturdy. If someone is thinking that they are going to get a PA for bar gigs for thier band for 200 bucks they're stupid and/or a cheapskate. But if your bandmates aren't volume crazy and you just need a simple clean 4 chan vocal mixer, this is excellent. has a very nice and clean look to it as well.Could be used this for small acoustic gigs too.

Outstanding Product

By Bill

from Standish Ca.

Comments about Phonic Powerpod 410/S710 PA Package:

I've been using this for about a month now and honestly can't see anything wrong with it. I've read the one, two and three star reviews and really can't understand the low rating? I can not see why anyone wouldn't like this Powerpod/speaker system. Maybe they expect more for the money? maybe they're not adjusting it right? If you adjust this little system up so loud that it distorts when adjusted correctly then your music is too radical for this little outfit. If you want to break windows (or your ear drums) then it's not for you. In that case you might want to go ahead and spend a few thousand dollars to get that will. The price can't be beat for the quality of such a powerful little PA system. I too was very skeptical of it's quality because of the low price. When I received it I was absolutely amazed of it's sound and versatility. When I plug in my acoustic guitar and adjust the level to match the mic(s) and room size I couldn't be happier with how it performs. Granted, I/we do not play gigs other then for family and friends, however if I/we do at some point in time, I would not hesitate to use this system, especially for a small venues. My wife says I'm a person that can't be pleased because I'm too critical about every thing, I proved her wrong with this outfit. I can't find anything bad to say about it. It's kinda refreshing not to write a bad review. If I was to give a recommendation to first time buyers, it would be to purchase this system before the price goes up! which I believe will at some point because the quality exceeds the selling price when compared to other units of equal size and performance. But, that's just my opinion, Thanks for the opportunity to express it.

BEST package for the price, no doubt

By santa_man99

Comments about Phonic Powerpod 410/S710 PA Package:

This PA is BA. Yeah I said it, haha. It can run XLR or 1/4" microphones, so you can plug in a guitar or bass if you so wish. It sounds great even at high volume. The cables aren't the best quality, we bought so oxygen-free cables and that helped a lot. 5 stars all the way.
