The Most accurate tuner in the market!!!

By kmadman

Comments about Peterson StroboStomp2 Pedal Virtual Strobe Tuner:

If you're looking for the best tuner in the market now...this is the one, I have owned several tuners in my time but this beats all of them combined. Once you get used to the strobe its all gravy from there..It was well worth the money I paid for it, your guitar will sound so much better using this tuner.

Best Tuner Out There

By Beshmonger

Comments about Peterson StroboStomp2 Pedal Virtual Strobe Tuner:

Man, is thing accurate. The strobe display took a few times to get used to but now it's second nature. I've been using the Boss tuner for years which works fine for stage/rehearsals but the Peterson blows it away when it comes to recording and intonating. My guitar is actually "in tune"! Features galore and you can daisy chain power to other effects too. Peterson really knows what they're doing - kudos.

Almost Perfect

By Phil

Comments about Peterson StroboStomp2 Pedal Virtual Strobe Tuner:

Great to have a "strobe type" tuner in pedal form. I found it very easy to use. It IS very sensitive and very accurate. Use a steady hand. I like that it powers other pedals & has an XLR output. Although I don't anticipate using the XLR, I do like extra features, just in case. My favorite feature is the many "Sweetened Tuning" settings (ie: Guitar, Acoustic, Bass, Pedal Steel, violin, DADGAG, 1/2 step drop, 4 user programmable sweeteners, 440 adjustable). There was a time when "tuned" was "tuned" for any & all instruments alike. But as a guitar player & repairman, the sweeteners for electric and acoustic really do make a difference. It compensates for fretted/string instruments, which are all somewhat compromised and never 100% perfect or precise. Especially acoustics with non-adjustable saddles. By the way, it's awesome for setting string length compensation (Intonation). My one & only complaint is that as good as the on/off switch is supposed to be, it makes a little pop noise when turned on/off especially on a dirty channel. I usually make a conscious effort to switch to clean channel before turning it on. If this type of thing drives you nuts perhaps you should try it first. Stay Tuned...... PLEASE!!!

Great, but...

By Bill Horn

Comments about Peterson StroboStomp2 Pedal Virtual Strobe Tuner:

I love the function of this tuner. The sweetened tunings are amazing on guitar, and I love the accuracy. However, the screen died after only 4 months. The manager of my guitar center suggested I get the pro protection because this had been a frequent complaint. So, buyer beware: get the protection plan if you get this tuner, because it is worthless without the screen. The construction of this thing is a little suspect to me, as well. It feels like a welterweight compared to my tried and true TU-2.
