I bought this for my wife who was looking for a stand that would hold three to four pages open at a time. It holds two to three pages max. The plastic feet and pole pieces also bind tightly together when assembling making it difficult to disassemble (my wife could not do it). Another point: this stand comes with the case. I made the mistake of buying another case separately so now I have two cases. On the positive side: my wife likes the case since it holds two of her folding stands. That way she can hold the four sheets she needed to hold anyway. Sweet! If I had only known...
I was optimistic...the design is interesting, it folds up quite compactly. My optimism was ill placed. This stand is a total piece of crap. The legs will hold the stand up, but if you move the stand at all, all three legs fall off and the stand falls over. The mechanism that allows the stand to be taller or shorter failed after about 3 uses and stuck in the 'tall' position, rendering the compact feature useless. When I returned to the store where I bought it I was told that since my purchase was more than 30 days ago, I would not be refunded. WASTE OF MONEY!!!
The construction of this stand makes it very intriguing. I love the fact that I can fold it up and carry it where I need to go. There are some weaknesses in its design -- e.g., the legs fall off very easily, but can be reconnected... just a little annoying. Overall, an amazing buy and VERY convenient!
