First off I would like to just say that the case that this thing comes in is RIDICULOUS! I mean that in a good way of course... The case itself weighs quite a bit and i like that because I know it won't slide around in the back of our trailer while hauling it gig to gig. The case also has a pocket for storage! I can fit 4 20' guitar cords and a serial connection cable for my Blackstar amp! The board itself seems to be made from some super metal of sorts.. seriously i broke 2 drill bits when trying to under-mount my Voodoo Labs Pedal Power 2! BTW this DOES come with 1 bracket included! So don't go buy one like I did thinking it didn't come with one.. Unless you need 2 of course! The Velcro it comes with is perfect for the board and they give you an ample supply to cover the full length of the rails and a little extra for anything else you might need. and they give you the same amount for your pedals too! Overall this board is nothing short of amazing and should be more than enough for most gigging musicians. However they do have one size larger than this board.. The PedalTrain Grande! You may think the price tag is steep but in all honesty with that case I would have paid more if I saw it first hand! Quality product!

As with the soft case version of this board, I have owned this pedalboard as well.
The specs seem pretty light, but you also need to factor in the weight of each and every pedal that you will be adding onto the board, plus the power supply/supplies/other power needs, extra cables, and other accessories that you will be stowing in the case.
In the end, I think my board weighed in at about 100lbs which wasn't so much of a hassle with the wheels, unless the venue included having to haul gear up or down stairs. Then it became more of a pain than any of my other gear to haul around.
This case is indeed road worthy as I wheeled it around for about a year and a half, sold it to a friend, and it's still very much in great working order.

Comments about Pedaltrain PT-Pro Pedalboard with Hardshell ATA Flightcase:

Excellent pedal board, plenty of room for pedals, and power source mounting space underneath. Extremely solid ATA case that is very big too + an extra divided space separate from the main storage. One minor issue - the black finish might peel off when removing or trying to straighten the Velcro strips on the board - not really a problem as it is most likely covered up.

Picked this up through MF condition 1 used for around 200.00. 32x16 pedal board itself. Holds all my pedals and then some. The thing that impressed me the most is the case. It's very well constructed. You could probably run a Prevost bus over it and it would be fine. The case with the effects in it is actually heavier that my peavey classic 4-10's which are in road cases. The good note is the case has wheels. This case alone you would normally spend 300-400. With the pedal board, case, Velcro, and power supply attachment, this is such an awesome value.

Comments about Pedaltrain PT-Pro Pedalboard with Hardshell ATA Flightcase:

My Pedaltrain Pro lets me use my Line6 M13 and two Dunlop Volume (X) pedals without feeling cramped on stage. Plenty of deck to add other devices when I need to switch things around.
It does get heavy with the more gear you load onto it.
The wheels on the heavy duty ATA flight case come in handy.
If you take serious gear with you to your gigs you need this; don't torture your pedals by tossing them in some bag or lesser box.

Comments about Pedaltrain PT-Pro Pedalboard with Hardshell ATA Flightcase:

I had been searching for a board for a while and this was exactly what I was looking for. It is extremely tough, big enough to hold all of my pedals and power supplies, and the case is rock solid. I don't have to worry about them being damaged on the road. The only part I didn't like was having to drill holes and attach your power supplies. But it's worth the work.

Comments about Pedaltrain PT-Pro Pedalboard with Hardshell ATA Flightcase:

The pedalboard is big, lightweight, and has enough wide Velcro strips to load it up. The flight case to hold the pedalboard is obviously very sturdy but weighs a ton! Will take up a lot of precious space in your car or van.

Bliss for a pedal junkie like me

            By Nick Perry-Guetti

            from Portland, OR

Comments about Pedaltrain PT-Pro Pedalboard with Hardshell ATA Flightcase:

I currently own a baker's dozen of miscellaneous pedals and devices that I currently use, and this used to make my rig a real pain to set up in a hurry, but this ceased to be a problem when I ordered the PT-Pro. Even with 13 pedals of different sizes comfortably spaced on its elegant-looking surface, there is room for at least 3 more. Expensive, but well worth it, this monstrosity of an article of stage/studio furniture is the funnest thing I've had to fool with in ages. The board frame is light but sturdy, and the velcro is high quality (note that not all pedals can be velcroed: my Hardwire TR-7, for example, has a bottom of rubber that defies all adhesives; Boss and Ibanez, however, use a different kind of rubber that's not so bad), and the included plastic string-ties can secure non-velcro-friendly pedals as well as tuck away loose cable loops. You have to spend some time building your board, but it's fun if you have any patience at all and very rewarding. I do not own a Voodoo power source yet (I'm currently using my old Gator one), but will probably get the obviously excellent Pedal Power 2 as the PT-Pro comes with brackets and instructions for installing one (the Gator does not fit these brackets and will probably have to be tied to the underside of the frame). The flight case is amazing, heavy and sturdy (the thing will weigh a ton with the board and all my pedals inside it), lined with firm foam-rubber and "ceilinged" with egg-carton soundproofing-type foam that smooshes down on top of the pedals and gently but firmly holds them in place while traveling, and also has rubber feet and wheels at one end and spring-loaded handles and both ends and on one side. DO NOT attempt to carry this thing like a suitcase when full, though, or you will break your back! Even empty, there's no point: the wheels work fine. You will need help carrying the thing up or down stairs or onto a stage: I am very strong, but would never attempt it alone. The thing looks amazing! My wife, who (like many other musicians) finds my taste for myriad pedals excessive and dreaded the arrival of the Pedaltrain in the mail, was visibly very impressed when she actually saw the thing ("Oh, sweetie, it's beautiful!" she breathed, enraptured despite herself). The only problem I can foresee is the amount of stage real estate it will occupy in the small clubs I currently play in, but that's the venue's problem, not mine and certainly not Pedaltrain's. Seriously, dude: either give me more time to set up my rig or deal with the fact that I have a monstrous freaking board! It may be your house, but it's my tone.

plenty of room, rugged, and the Hardcase has a nice little extra compartment for storage, cables, whatever you want. If you're planning on getting the PT-2 or 3, save yourself having to upgrade down the road and get the PRO. I used to own the 2 and got by for a long time, until i started having to have a few pedals on the ground. Overall great board.
