    Pedaltrain Board

Comments about Pedaltrain PT-JR Pedalboard with Softshell Gig Bag:

Seems about right for my needs. Big enough for a modest amount of effects. I have all my pedals mounted neatly. I also bought a separate 1 Spot power supply that powers up all the pedals. Added Planet Waves solder less cables and I'm set. No more hooking up everything and discovering I'm missing batteries or a cord etc. Can quickly store your effects away with no dangers of batteries.

Sturdy, except for the soft case.

Comments about Pedaltrain PT-JR Pedalboard with Softshell Gig Bag:

I like everything about the pedal train itself. Light weight, sturdy, looks and feels solid and the size is just right for me since I'm a bass player with only a few pedals. I even have room to spare. The only thing I didn't like was the soft case because of the zippers. Even though you could use a padlock on both zipper handles, it can be easily opened by piercing a ball-tip pen (or any sharp object for that matter) between the closed zipper and it will easily open. I don't want to use a flight case since it's too heavy and bulky. What I would suggest is purchase a Mono M80 Club (which is fitted for a pedal train JR.) It's worth the price. I'd rather pay a lot of cash for a hybrid case to protect my pedals than have all my pedals stolen. I have a Mono case for my bass and the zipper doesn't slip (doesn't open when you pierce a pen through it).

    Great for the $

Comments about Pedaltrain PT-JR Pedalboard with Softshell Gig Bag:

The pedal platform is light, but seems super sturdy. I like the angle of the platform and the space underneath to run cables and power. As long as you don't plan on stacking a cab or other heavy stuff on top of it, the bag is great. Plus the side pocket has plenty of room for extra cables, etc.

perfect size for me. Might be small for others

I use a tc helicon voice live play gxs with a switch 3, both double size pedals. And a boss equalizer and chorus. I have room to spare. Solid deal. Everything sticks and wires are nicely organized. Used the ISO5 as the underneath power supply. But if you have a lot of pedals, you might need to move to the next size.

    Pedal Train Junior

Nice light weight compact unit. It holds eight pedals very comfortably. I also got the Voodoo Lab Power PP2 which fits under the board.

Pedal Train Jr - perfect for my needs

    By BRIAN HARDY

    from Duvall, WA

Comments about Pedaltrain PT-JR Pedalboard with Softshell Gig Bag:

I owned a PedalTrain Nano for a few pedals for my Bass. When I wanted to get a volume pedal, I was stuck with 2 options: buy a mini VP (tried it, but the Volume didn't come on smooth) or buy a bigger Pedal Board. PedalTrain boards are solid, they give you tons of Velcro to stick on the board and on your pedals, provide brackets to attach a power supply (like Voodoo Labs) and even give wire ties to keep the wiring in place. The PT Jr is just the right size for my pedal rig (Ernie Ball VP, Boss TU-3 Tuner, MXR Bass Compressor, LiveWire Direct Box and Sansamp DI 3 channel bass driver). The only thing I wish was that they had a hard case version for this that wasn't ATA, so it wasn't a $70 jump in cost to get a hard case. I almost went with the PT-2 for that reason, but am very happy I didn't since this is the perfect size for me and a PT-2 would be overkill in empty space. The bag is heavily padded, has plenty of room for the board + pedals on top (even the Ernie Ball VP), opens all the way up so you're not sliding the board in, but can place it, and has a pretty big extra pocket (that I store the 1-spot power supply and my two instrument cables in, it's a little snug, but not bad). All in all, great board, great size (for me), and good price. If you need a board this size, you should do it!

    Pedaltrain JR Review

    By Kim

    from New York, NY

Comments about Pedaltrain PT-JR Pedalboard with Softshell Gig Bag:

Pretty straight forward item. Made of durable materials (including the gig bag) - no complaints. I will say, though, that if you plan on mounting a Voodoo Lab Pedal Power II (or something similar) it will require using a drill - so be prepared if you're not-so-handy. Please also note that a lot of Pedaltrain's power source suggestions from their official website are NOT compatible with the mounting brackets (i.e. Dunlop DC Brick, etc.). Worth the $$.

    PT Jr

    By Russ in Dallas

    from Dallas, TX

Comments about Pedaltrain PT-JR Pedalboard with Softshell Gig Bag:

I already owned a PT-II so I knew what I was getting. These things are built like tanks for good reason. They can handle the road! I prefer the Soft case both work together very well. I would like it better for cable management if they'd drill some 5/8" holes through the square parts of the cross pieces. otherwise it's a great piece of equipment

    Money Well Spent

    By Satisfied Customer

Comments about Pedaltrain PT-JR Pedalboard with Softshell Gig Bag:

At my acoustic cafe' gigs I use a few pedals in my set up. Using this pedal board helps set up and tear down time go much faster and easier & the stage is much cleaner too. Why didn't I do this before? I love the bag too. It has room for extra chords & junk.
