Great Pedal Board

By

Comments about Pedaltrain PT-2 Pedalboard with Hardshell ATA Flightcase:

First and foremost, the hard case is an absolute must and well worth the extra 70 bucks. For carrying 1500 dollars worth of equipment, you want something rugged! I love the case and it's not even that big. Second, the board itself is great. Easy to use, set up, and organize. This board can definitely fit 7 boss sized pedals in a row if you use pancake style patch cables.

Comments about Pedaltrain PT-2 Pedalboard with Hardshell ATA Flightcase:

Much Better Than Expected!!!!!!!!!! I first obtained the board with gig bag, it was really nice the bag was heavier duty than I thought it would be, very good quality. Well as things turned out I nabbed a few concert warm-up shows and felt the need for something stack-able with my Speaks & Amps because I have to leave my gear back stage until the whole show is over before I can carry them out to my ride. I wanted something lockable to prevent theft of small pedals that could be stuck in a thief's pocket! Guess What, this is it! This case is built like a safe,no joke. Put 2 good locks on it and and a Harley Lock Cable to tie your gear together and you good to go and party with the masses for the rest of the night!!! Anyone that would try to steal your gear will be out of luck. I'm no light weight (I'm a Big Boy) and I can walk on this thing without so much as squeak coming from it! If your looking for some of the best protection for your pedal babies "This Is It!"

Returned PT 1 (and info on set-up for bass)

By

from Chicago, Il

Comments about Pedaltrain PT-2 Pedalboard with Hardshell ATA Flightcase:

I'm a bass player so pedals aren't a real priority. Consequently, I didn't do any research before buying. Oops. I just saw that every guitarist that I work with uses Pedaltrain with Voodoo labs Pedal Power and they all say it's the only set-up to consider so I thought it was all gold. So, when I was at GC buying a bunch of really necessary stuff I had them throw in the PT1 which was the only hard-shell case model they had in-stock. Sounded good to me. When I got home and actually checked it out I was like "what?!" I then got on line and noticed that the other models say "ATA" hard shell case. I then learned that there is hardshell and there is ATA (Air Transport Association) hardshell. Even if you aren't flying, get the ATA. The PT-1 looked like it could fall apart any minute just sitting in the backseat of a car. Incidentally, the Pedal Power 2+ installed underneath in about 2 minutes. Also, I mounted a full rack space compressor (dbx 160x) right over PP2+ and there are no heat or noise issues. It's cool- now you don't have to settle for a compressor pedal nor do you have to lug around an additional rack case to protect your full sized compressor. I also have three pedals on board and there is room for at least 4 more, if not 5 more. Please note: This is not an endorsement to use effects pedals with your bass- 99% of time, it's a bad idea :) I'm just sayin if you have pedals AND you prefer a non-pedal compressor, you can get it all on here and it will be safe.

Awsome Pedal Board!!

By

from Mexico

Comments about Pedaltrain PT-2 Pedalboard with Hardshell ATA Flightcase:

This is a great pedal board for any guy that uses around 8 to 10 Pedals on its pedalboard. If you use more than that, go with a bigger one. Easy to install, plus super comfortable for touring on the road. The case were it came seems to be very strong a durable for long and rough touring. I recommend it to almost guitarist.

Great board and case

By

from Brown Summit NC

Comments about Pedaltrain PT-2 Pedalboard with Hardshell ATA Flightcase:

When first got into the pedal world I wasn't sure how far I would go or what all I wanted to include on my pedal board so, being the frugal person that I am, I made a home made pedal board with supplies I had around the house. I quickly learned that it wasn't big enough. I bought the pedal train 2 about three weeks ago, and I must say, it is the best investment I have made. The board itself it light and and holds all my pedals. Morley volume, 2 double size pedals and 6 regular size stomp boxes all fit perfectly. The case is a little heavy but, with the foam padding all the way around and the egg shell pad on the, you know your pedals are protected during transit. I play every Sunday and Thursday and I know this board and case will hold up. It is a tank. I will never need another board. This is perfect.

Well-Made, Sturdy, Not a Lot of Room

By

from Tacoma, Wa

Comments about Pedaltrain PT-2 Pedalboard with Hardshell ATA Flightcase:

I just purchased this hardshell to replace an old soft case I've been using forever. This thing is very solidly made and padded inside. I have no more worries of damaging my equipment if this thing gets bumped around a bit compared to my old soft-shell. But, I only gave this review 4 stars because I do still have a couple of gripes: First, this case is just a little too small (depth wise) to house my Line 6 M13. I had to cut off the rubber feet mounted on the pedal board and from my M13 to lower the height 3/4" to get the lid to close..even after doing that, the lid just barrrely latches. Also, upon taking my new pedaltrain out of it's box, I noticed that there was already a dime-sized dent in the top edge. It is not a show-stopper or affecting the overall case in any way, but when I drop two bills on new gear, I do expect it to be ding-free. Other than that, I expect this case to last me many years of on-the-road use to come.

Great Product!

Comments about Pedaltrain PT-2 Pedalboard with Hardshell ATA Flightcase:

These things are pro level. I've tried other off brand cases for pedal boards and they aren't anywhere near the quality of pedaltrain. Not to mention the pedal boards are top notch as well.

Nothing Better!

By

from OR

Comments about Pedaltrain PT-2 Pedalboard with Hardshell ATA Flightcase:

I'll keep it short and simple. Holds 3 of my massive pedals (2 Morley's/1 DML2), 1 medium (JHS Pink Panther Delay) and 2 small pedals (JHS Astromess Fuzz/Tc elec. polytune)... easily. Wiring hides easily with included zip ties, board and case extremely durable. Awesome board set!... Sorry, longer than I expected... wanted to mention that the glue on the freaking Velcro is strong! Had all my pedals attached, held the board upside down and gave a couple good shakes. Not the slightest budge.

Exactly What I wanted

By

from AZ

Comments about Pedaltrain PT-2 Pedalboard with Hardshell ATA Flightcase:

I just got this last week and I love it! I ordered it along with the voodoo power lab and I love how nicely the power supply mounts to the bottom of the board! As the other reviews said it comes with everything you need such as velcro, zip ties and the mounting screws. The case is one of the many reasons I wanted this in order to keep my pedals safe and it didn't dissapoint! This thing could litterally be thrown down 3 stories and probably still be good to go. If you're undecided about a pedal board buy this quick but if you have a whole lot of pedals you might wanna upgrade to the PT Pro. Pedal train is definitely the way to go!
