Great mixer

By Kim McManus

Comments about Peavey XR 8600D Powered Mixer:

I have used this mixer for 6 years doing 3 shows a week. Awesome sound! I use this mixer with 2 peavey SP5's and also a Peavey BlackWidow 118 sub woofer powered by a beringer amp. I always get compliments on the sound of my system (thanks to the peavey xr 8600 mixer)...It has all the inputs/outputs as well as special effects that you could need....Well worth the money!

I THINK ITS A GREAT MIXER!!!

Comments about Peavey XR 8600D Powered Mixer:

I 've been a lead singer for over 25 years in a Classic Rock show band and I must say this is one of the best sounding powered mixer I have ever used. I would take it over a Mackie in a hearbeat!! It's clean and loud!! I have no problem with it at all!! ...it seems to be made even better than most in it's class!!

Peavy 8600 Mixer

By Dumas McLaney

from Mobile, alabama

Comments about Peavey XR 8600D Powered Mixer:

I ordered a new one from Guitar Center. Half of the channels would not work. Guitar Center ordered a new one. It worked a month before it quit. Took it to an peavy service repair center. The repair man had to resolder every thing inside. He said the solder that the chinese used was no good. The unit never had a good clear sound for the vocals. Traded it at guitar center for a yamaha 512. It works great, get a yamaha instead of a piece of junk from peavy.
