With supercharged active pickups anchored to menacing slabs of tone-sustaining mahogany, the Peavey PXD Void II is the sound of full-on aggression and the perfect complement to the Peavey 6505 Series guitar amplifiers, already a metal legend in the arsenals of bands like Trivium, In Flames, Bullet For My Valentine, Machine Head, Darkest Hour and more. True to the music that inspired them, the PXD Series guitars are built for speed, slicing leads and razor-sharp riffs.
The Peavey PXD Void II features two EMG active humbuckers and the EMG-AB Afterburner tone circuit, which boosts input gain up to 20 dB--for the highest levels of saturation anywhere.

i bought a peavey tomb1 guitar and let me tell you this thing is awesome for the price it is exceptionally well made and has active pickups which i recommend changing the battery to a high quality everready or duracell it will help the tone a lot but overall this is a great guitar for the price it has very low action and no fret buzz it sounds best through a tube amp the only thing i dislike is the pickups are very high output so expect distortion even on the clean channel .
so id like to say that ive never tried this guitar, so i cant say for sure but the company BC Rich makes some very similar guitars, 24 jumbo fret, similar hardware, almost the exact same headstock and similar looks. That being said, I have a funny fealing peavy found bc rich guitars and tried them with a peavy amp (wich is my current set up) and liked it so much they produced a bc rich guitar of their own
