Comments about Peavey PV 900 Power Amp:

I use this with a dbx DriveRack PA and a pair of Peavey PR10 speakers. It's primary use is in a home studio. I plan to add a second PV 900 next year, which will give me more options including operating with a sub in a 3-way configuration or bridging for more power to a stereo pair. The same setup does well for smaller, quieter venues like coffee shops as well. I've been using this setup for about 6 years and I'm still happy with it.

Comments about Peavey PV 900 Power Amp:

I use this amp to run a set of double fifteen inch subs 4 0hm 500 watts and it jams very good for me and with the help of my equalizer, enhancers, and crosover it poduces a much better quality sound. The ddt is a good tool for this amp. my next purchase will be a peavey1500.

Own it... Wish I had known better!

Comments about Peavey PV 900 Power Amp:

My only complaint with this unit is it just doesn't have the power I need for my monitors. We ended up getting a GPS 1500 for the 5 monitor speakers we run and use this bridged now for the drummer on one 12" Peavey monitor speaker. It's a great little amp, I'm just not sure what it was meant for in it's application. I'm a guitarist so my ignorance was staggering when it came to PA systems - I just know that a 100w amp on a guitar cab will make people leave the room... I figured a 900w amp would be MORE than enough to run 3 12" floor monitors. Not so.I love the unit for what it's being used for... just thought it would be a little more powerfull.Don't buy it to run a lot of gear... but other than that - it's a good, solid, reliable amp. I don't think I would buy another if this one failed though - I would buy another GPS 1500 and know that I had spare power.

Why not get this amp! So Versatile.

Comments about Peavey PV 900 Power Amp:

I use two of these amps one on 2 PR15 tops and one on 2 PV18 subs and they rock the inside of a building. They will move your highs to another level. But far as the subs they do good for in house parties, outside is another story. But it works for me. This amp has hidden power thats my opinion don't quote that it does. But I have use this amp on 2 PR15 and 2 tall cabinets of 6-8" speakers. This amp has proved me wrong and surprised me every time I hook it up.

    Great for DJ's

    By DjGato04

Comments about Peavey PV 900 Power Amp:

This amp came in handy when my Crown CE-1000 was in the shope. Not recommended for large crowds, but great for a pair of 500 watt 15" speakers. Great and easy to use if used in multiples with their "thru-out" for signal only. All in all i would definately buy more.

if you got little space, this thing is first place

    By steve

Comments about Peavey PV 900 Power Amp:

If you are like me, you have very little room to store equipment, especially to take over to buddies houses to jam. This thing sings and is a great when you dont have alot of space to have a full stack or combo. I wish i had one of these in every room in my house because they are so small it isnt a problem anywhere. My only complaint is that your better off going with a more powerful one for jamming, but playing on your own this thing sings.

    Workhorse

    By arsimondj.com

    from Summerville, SC

Comments about Peavey PV 900 Power Amp:

I have done live sound for years and am now working as a mobile dj. This amp is amazing for the price. It doesn't have built in crossovers, but that is the only thing it is missing (for the price, it shoudln't be missed). The amp runs for hours and hours and is still cool to the touch at 4 ohms per side. Reliable & clean. I am getting ready to purchase my second one. I push to 2x15 Peavey tslx cabs and even in outdoor settings, plenty of volume.
