Everything I need, nothing I don't.

By Brendan Winters

from Leander, TX

This mixer was absolutely perfect for my needs. I record one track at a time, so I don't need a lot of inputs. The most I use is 3 inputs at a time (to mic my drumset). The monitoring is solid, very useful EQ controls, sufficient monitoring, and an overall outstanding tone. The RCA ins and outs on the back I particularly found useful, especially with a 3.5 mm - Dual RCA adaptor to connect to consumer grade devices. If you need more inputs, just go to the PV8 or the PV10. If you need a digital output, they also make this exact mixer with a USB. It leaves nothing to desire.

Great Economical Mixe

By Blair Kullman

from River Ridge, LA.

Bought for a mic mixer at first but hooked it up with a music source, ran thru the PC and it sounded great. Crips & clean. Capable of 2 line inputs & has 4 mic ins. Has tape/RCA and balanced TRS outputs but wish it had XLS outs. Compact, well put together but a bit heavy for it's size. With it's rubber feet, it won't slide off a table. Feel it's worth every penny.

I Own It

By Tomt

from Richmond, Virginia

This unit looks very strong and will no doubt stand the test of time. There are few purchases that meet or exceed all my expectations but this is one of them. Great piece for the money.

PV6 Mixer

By George (Clay) Negley

from Grand Lake, CO

Purchased unit to mix XM, Jutebox, TV and Stage Line out to house PA system in a bar. The unit also has a microphone plugged in by the bartender to announce "last call". For a "hundred bucks" along with a killer set of used EV speakers and, likewise, a used QSC amp at 300W RMS per side, we got the house rocking. Peavey's bang for buck was my reason for selecting the PV6; could have gone cheaper for less quality and spent more for, really, no good reason. So far, real happy

Lo-Fi Easy to use

By Anonymous

from Undisclosed

I've used this for recording a few times and it is straight forward and easy to use. Not too many bells or whistles but if you have a nice mic and fairly good recorder (I even use an OLD tascam 4track that records to tape)it's perfect. Just some playing with knobs and you can get a pretty good mix. If I can use it and get any kind of results than anyone can, I'm not a sound guy at all!
