Had my Millenium for about a year and a half now, and i love it. More expensive instruments have muh better playability, but the sound out of this Peavey is great and it works for just about any type of playing style. I almost grabbed an Ibanez instead, but found this used, slightly adjusted the truss rod, and havent had any issues since. It will ping slightly if it goes without tuning for awhile, but common sense says to tune your bass before you play, so no problems. Great relatively inexpensive first bass, that will last quite awhile.

bought this bass along with an epiphone thunderbird. the peavey was brand new and the epi. was beat to hell and back. i first played the peavey on my acoustic b450 and did not like tha sound at all. i changed strings and still didn't like it so i pluged in the thunderbird and haven't put it down since. in conclusion, this bass is for looks, not sound.

A Wise Choice

By Michael

from Marquette, MI

I've owned this bass for a little over 7 years and it hasn't even begun to wear down. The materials used are strong and haven't buckled under playing. The Millennium has good playability through multiple genres, and even more through a quality amp. Also, it's pretty lite-weight and rather handsome. I fully endorse anyone's choice in getting this Peavey bass.

Great bass

By Rogelio

from Colchester Vermont

When I first bought this bass I was just seeing if I liked electric bass to begin with. However quickly I found this bass to be a really good buy. It has a fast action, very good sound for the price and the neck is nice and thin for fast playing. I would strongly recommend this bass for the beginning bass player, it's very well suited for a multitude of styles so you can explorer what you want to play. One thing that is noticeable about this bass is that the pick ups are not the greatest, they are the only thing I would change about this bass. Other than that, it has given me no problems so far and I have had a wholesome bass experience out of it.

Bass For Now, Bass Forever!

By Markku Vorneklappen

from Hickory, NC

Ive had this bass for a good 4-5 years now, pounding it to death with tons of notes, and it doesn't even flinch. Bridge is super solid and the tone is really nice and precise. I keep it in at the bridge usually, and its an amazing sound. Feels great to the hands and it hardly ever loses tone. Only complaint: No 24 fret version! Oh well. Still has a 5 star vote from me. Thanks Peavey!!

Great Bass

By Anne

I was trying to decide between this guitar and an Ibanez (which was close to the same price) and this one just sounds so much better in my opinion. It has a nice clear bass sound, plays well for the price, and looks great.

Future Investment

By Damian

from Los Angeles

This is a good investment, as a beginning guitar. The price is right and the noise cancelling pick-ups are a must, if one is going to learn to hear the sound of the note(s). A word to the wise might be to invest in a good quality amp (Line 6 LD300).

bad bass

By matt

from arkansas

This bass is amazing, it has a full sound, great for metal. I bought it for my new band, just to try it out, and it is one of the best basses I have ever played. It also runs on a low price, but it is worth the money. I recomend it to any style of bass player.

Great Affordable Bass

By GT

from Chicago,IL

I've was looking to buy a bass in the S450-$550 range and I stubled across this bass by Peavey. The feel, the weight and most impressing is the price. If you're on a tight budget, looking for a second bass to add to your collection,or if your a beginner, this bass is for you. Great job Peavey!
