Overview

The 2x12 Peavey 6505 212 Combo Guitar Amp pours out a punishing 60W through 2 Sheffield 1200 speakers in a closed-back cabinet for aggressive tone with plenty of low end. The Peavey 6505 Amp features a footswitchable lead/rhythm channel select and reverb defeat. Master controls include 3-band EQ, resonance, and presence. Good for local shows

Comments about Peavey 6505 212 Combo 2x12 Guitar Amp:

My guitar player just picked this up...IT is very LOUD. The effects aweful, BUT if you have a pedel board, you are good to go. We have used it to play several small to large venues and it gets the job done. Very impressed with peavey on this one

loud and proud!

Comments about Peavey 6505 212 Combo 2x12 Guitar Amp:

Plug straight in! this amp has the unrivaled tone of an all tube amp with plenty of power. You will have to turn it up to do it justice though and I would not recommend this for a bedroom amp. Not the most versatile in my opinion but with a EQ pedal, chorus and noise gate you will be very pleased.

Heavy Metal Amp

By Sea Bass

from New Cumberland, PA

Comments about Peavey 6505 212 Combo 2x12 Guitar Amp:

Traded in a tube full stack for used 6505 Combo. Lost money in the process....gained un-Godly metal tone! In my experience, it is actually too much gain with the amp and must be (partially)tamed with an ISP Decimator G String. Throw in a BBE Sonic Stomp, Good analog delay and chorus to sweeten the cleans and you're all set!
