Combining traditional style with modern design perfection.

Crafted with a chambered basswood body, bolt-on hard rock Canadian Maple neck and a genuine rosewood fretboard, the Peavey Session guitar combines traditional style with modern design perfection. Two premium Peavey USA design humbucking pickups give the Session its signature tones. Die cast nickel plated string-through-the-body bridge with stainless steel saddles for bite and sustain. The silky satin neck finish allows for that "broken in" feel. The ergonomic elliptical neck profile is comfortable and fits the hand like a glove. Peavey's special compound radius fretboard allows deep bending in upper register yet has the "vintage" feel in the lower register. The Session features a 15 degree tilted headstock with straight string pull.

  • Awesome guitar! In a class of its own for the price.

As reviewed by Jens Jorgensen on 12/27/2012

You will not find a better guitar at this price level. This guitar from day one fit like a glove in my hand. Bends, hammer-ons,pull-offs, and slides were easily achieved. The neck thickness is somewhere between a Gibson Les Paul and an Ibanez RG and it's truly easy to fret. Action was great out of factory. Setup was great. This guitar is truly beautiful. The curves are well sculpted. I have not seen great lines like these at this price level. The pickups are also top notch. I have 4 other guitars near this price level and nothing records better than the Peavey. You will not regret buying a Session. This is a secret weapon.

Best bang for the buck ive seen in years. Beautiful neck, well finished, strong, good tuners. Coil splitting and humbucker mode's sound great. weight is very good with an extremely comfortable body design and the layout of the parts do not interfere at all with your playing. sounds good for everything from hard rock and metal to country and blues. shame it isnt an American guitar because it plays and sounds better than most ive had. 5 stars for peavey with this guitar. Im extremely happy with mine.

  • amazing...

I've had many guitar's and the session is one of the best ever made esp's for the price. It plays smooth, sounds great for all style's, is very comfortable to hold, and very gig worthy. It holds it's own with any lp or strat ive owned- including my American one's. This is one very underrated guitar. Top quality from Peavey. I wish it was American made, but for an American guitar of this caliber it would cost $2,000.00. If you play you owe it to yourself to try one.
