Peavey's exclusive Quadratic Throat Waveguide technology actually reduces horn distortion and aims sound directly at the audience, not over their heads. I own a set of these speakers and they are the best speakers I have ever owned. They have awesome bass and the highs are crisp. They are tanks and will take anything that you throw at them. I have played next to DJ's with the more expensive speakers made by other brands and they blow them away everytime.
These are great speakers. But for an oldie in a oldies and classic rock band it would be nice if they could come out with one of these is a light weight version such as the PR series. If you live in a second floor apartment and lug your gear back and forth you better have some help. i almost bought one yesterday. but it was too heavy. I'll stick with my Pr series. speakers.
