A simple, yet effective axe built for speed, slicing leads, and razor-sharp riffs.

The Peavey PXD Tomb electric guitar features a single high-output Peavey VFL active humbucker pickup fitted on a sleek double-cutaway basswood body. The super fast bolt-on maple neck has a 24-fret rosewood fretboard and a 24-3/4" scale. A string-thru-body design with a Tune-o-matic style bridge adds stability and sustain. Appointments include a cool stylized headstock design, precision tuning machines, and black hardware. The Peavey PXD guitar comes with a special design Coffin Case gig bag.

The Peavey PXD Series is a new breed of extreme electric guitars that captures the aggression and attitude of modern metal players.

  • Decent Guitar

    This guitar is pretty good, it looks good, it sounds good, the price is good. Yet however, when I got my guitar and plugged it in (tuned up and everything) there was some buzz from the fret. So I had to get it fixed and everything. The guitar is good overall but it was a little hard to find a hard case for it because of the body shape.

    You might have to set up the guitar but other than that, its a good guitar. The clean sound is okay, but its a excellent rock guitar. This things could scream. It also very thick and meaty in sound.
