  • Incredible value

As reviewed by Wolfman63 on 3/19/2011

I have owned and gigged with this mixer for for over a year now. I rate it right along with the pre China Mackie quality. It replaced a much more expensive Yamaha board that was just not doing the job. The PV10 has much more headroom, better FX, and is just an all round workhorse. I am going to buy another PV10 to use with my second sound system for smaller gigs. In the past I've used Mackie, Yamaha, Kustom, Soundcraft, and Behringer, as well as other mixers, and the little PV10 can hold it's own with the best of them.

  • Peavey PV 10 USB Mixer

As reviewed by Kenohki on 12/21/2006

I was interested in purchasing an entry-level mixer that can also record my drum set, and this mixer caught my attention. One thing that the Peavey web site does not make clear is that, this hardware does not include ANY software. I booted up a Windows XP machine, installe Adobe Audition 2.0, hooked up the mixer via USB, and I was ready to record. Windows XP senses this mixer as a new audio recording device! It was that easy. From Adobe Audition 2.0, you will be presented with several available tracks, and all you have to do is arm the record button, then go into the drop down list and select USB Audio Codec 1. That information should get you started with recording immediately. My only gripe with this mixer is that, the built-in effects bleed over to the other channels. If you set reverb on one channel, it bleeds over to another audio source. It might be better to use separate modules for effects rather than using the built-in effects on the mixer. I highly recommend this mixer to anyone starting out with their own mini, home recording production.

  • The Bang For Your Buck!

As reviewed by DJ-B-Rad on 10/7/2009

My Dj Company has 7 of these boards, they work well for any small band, Church, DJ or other applications where a small mixer is needed without spending the money for a Mackie. I would not recomend this mixer for "serious" recording or mastering. Overall, very happy with this product.
