An efficient combination of power and value.

The PR 15D packs power and full-range sound quality into one compact loudspeaker. This 2-way powered system contains 270W of bi-amped power. A separate amplifier for each speaker provides crystal clear sound even at very high levels. 200W powers the heavy-duty 15" woofer and 70W are dedicated to the RX 14 compression driver. Both amplifiers feature DDT compression, which virtually eliminates audible power amplifier clipping. The enclosure utilizes tough polypropylene in an injection-molded plastic trapezoidal form, with a coated steel grille to offer an eye-pleasing yet durable powered speaker system. The PR 15D has a built-in three-channel mixer with individual level controls for XLR or 1/4 inch connections. Molded-in handles provide ease of transport while multiple mounting points for pole stand and Peavey Versamount brackets make it perfect for installs. The Peavey PR 15D has a variety of applications such as sound reinforcement, public address, side fill system, karaoke, or musical playback. It also makes an excellent stage monitor and can be easily added to an existing sound system.

With our Guaranteed Lowest Price, you can be assured of complete satisfaction and the lowest available price, or your money back!

  • Absolute garbage!

As reviewed by Scott on 5/31/2011

I purchased a pair of the PR15D back in the summer for mobile DJ use in 2010 This choice was based on my past excellent experience with Peavey amplifiers. Within the first 30 days, I had a power supply failure on one of them at my first gig! No sweat, Guitar center swapped it out right away. I had barely done 2 more gigs when the replacement failed as well!! I had the purchase protection plan from GC but opted to try to get it fixed under warranty. When the repair started taking a long time I was told by their service center that the replacement power supply sent from Peavey failed right after being installed!!! Upon getting my repaired speaker back, I spun a gig this past weekend and the other one that hasn't been giving me any problems started sounding bad, then it failed too!! Needless to say, I have never seen such shoddy engineering go into this product. It's truly a shame to see the quality of product coming from Peavey go down the toilet. That being said, I will not be buying Peavey product in the future, nor can I recommend it to anyone else!

As reviewed by Bobby on 6/12/2011

This active speaker is great. I have used them 3 years. I came on GC website to see what price they have now. I read the other review. I don't doubt the other DJ had the problems he says but I can't imagine. These are heavy duty. I really would recommend them and I am going to add one to my system.
