I have had a pair of these for over 4 years now and love them. I started out with the PR15's and got these for smaller gigs. For rock or country parties they can stand there own but anything techno/rap/newer music and you will need a sub obviously. They project very far for outdoor events. I replaced all the tweeters in my PR cabs and put inline self setting circuit breakers since the tweeter protection has to be removed with 8 screws to replace the blown fuse. I highly recommend these speakers and the power ratings are pretty spot on, feed them a solid 300 rms and they won't let you down.
