Great 5-String Bass at a Great Price

Peavey has always been known for fine quality in their products and the Peavey Millennium BXP is no exception to that. The look of the bass is eye catching, and gets alot of attention from people when they see it. But its the sounds that catches more attention from the masses, the low B string on this axe after some adjustments is remarkably clear, and the string spacing is quite comfortable. The BXP is has good sound, and for not having active pickups it produce alot of sound. The only drawbacks i have for this bass is the fretboard only has 20 frets, I personaly like playing the up in the higher registers sometimes, but for the most part 20 frets will suite most players. The tone control knobs, did very little for me, but the big sound of the bass was good enough for what i was looking for so i didn't need to use them much. So overall this bass is a great deal, and I recommend it for anyone looking for an affordable 5-string!

Excellent For The Price

This bass is amazing for the price. I found this bass easier to play than many of it's $500+ competition. The stock setup is decent and the low B has the right sound. The strings are my ideal length apart and plays many forms of music nicely through a Behringer BX1200. Can handle some slap (I'm a beginner at slap and it plays well). For any bassist that cannot afford a $500+ bass I recommend this to you.

Amazing Bass!

The Peavey Millennium 5-String Bass is amazing! I was going to get the 4-String version instead, but I figured adding one more string wouldn't hurt. I couldn't believe how low this bass can go. The low B string often vibrates against the fretboard, but other than that it sounds awesome. It's honestly worth every single penny and I really love the EQ on it because you can go from sounding very bright to low and thick. Overall, Peavey deserves an award for this bass as well as all their other products because Peavey rocks!

Love the Lows

I played one in my local guitar shop and I love it. I love the weight it has, which is not too much, but just enough. It's very comfortable to play and will easily rest on your leg if you have not a strap. I just love the low b on this bass, it's that extra kick I've been looking for for what i play.
