The Peavey Millennium BXP 4-String Bass Guitar is a terrifically playable starter instrument with a 34" scale, a hard rock maple neck and rosewood fretboard. The basswood body has a quilt top that delivers the visuals while string-thru-body routing and 2 hum-canceling single-coil pickups deliver the goods sonically.
I've owned this bass for a little over 7 years and it hasn't even begun to wear down. The materials used are strong and haven't buckled under playing. The Millennium has good playability through multiple genres, and even more through a quality amp. Also, it's pretty lite-weight and rather handsome. I fully endorse anyone's choice in getting this Peavey bass.
I was trying to decide between this guitar and an Ibanez (which was close to the same price) and this one just sounds so much better in my opinion. It has a nice clear bass sound, plays well for the price, and looks great.
I recieved this bass for christmas last year and t surprised me very much. This bass has the jazzy looks of a Fender and the sound of a much more expensive ESP bass. I have the sunburst finished bass and i must say it looks outstanding. I lent it to my friend for a gig and he told me after the show he only recieved positive remarks about it, about how it performed and looked. If you want to look and sound like a professional, this is your bass!
