  • Amazing for the price!

As reviewed by Austin M. on 10/27/2008

I bought this bass a few months ago and it still blows me away now as it did when i bought it. The active pickups give this bass a monsterous punch with a thundering low B and a crystal clear mid and high range, It is perfect for anyone doing rock or metal. A few bits of advice it looks much better in person, and you will want to get a nice set of strings it really completes the sound.

  • Great Bass

As reviewed by Josh on 9/20/2010

I have had this bass for quite a long time now and I have never been disappointed. Most people think that I paid waaay more for this thing than I did just because it looks so sexy(I have the Black Violet) and sounds great. I use this bass for an extremely wide variety of musical styles from worship to metal. Its extremely full sound can handle about any style of music. If you are looking for a mid-range priced 5 string with a well rounded sound and quality build....just do it. You wont regret it. And did I mention how good looking it is?

  • Best BASS for the Buck!!! Neckthrough vs. Bolt on necks!!

As reviewed by Alan Thym on 7/7/2011

I was looking for a new 5 String BASS that had the sound and playablity I wanted. My First BASS was a Peavey T60 so I looked to see what was new. This bass has it all. Not only does it Look Killer cool with is Qulited maple wood yop and Ruby Red clear finish, This BASS just sounds Great. If you are looking for a BASS with all Bright tones, This Bolt on neck has tune ability. You will like this BASS for Low range tones and You can pluck and thump with ease. I can pull any sound out of it I want. The active pickups and EQ and Blending control give you ability to make it sound twangy of Boomy as you like it. So, I am realy haveing fun with it. You can match just about any BASS line sound form any band you listen to. I like RUSH and YES so I can get that and more out of it. Hope this helps you BASS head make a dicision on you next AXE. BTW, I also Baught the PEAVEY Cirrus AC BXP 5str neckthrough!! Just had to have them both!! Neckthrough give you the Low smooth classic or Jazz sounds also!! ROCK ON!!!! Oh one more thing, I prefer a slanted headstock, not straight!! Thats my only dislike!!
