  • MY PRECIOUS

As reviewed by Charley Farley on 11/16/2007

Wow. First I had a Squire. Then I had a Warwick..(Huge waste of money for me) now I have this....my amazing bass. Well its prefect. The tone knobs are a little fuzzy and tight but it's easy to ignore. The humbuckers make the vibration honey to my ears. I'm saving up for a Carl Thompson and then I'll be done with this one but its also very beautiful. I chose the red tiger design. Its a blast to show off at school. Its been dropped dozens of times and no scratch yet. Get it ok?

  • Very Awsome bass for the money

As reviewed by John Lindsey on 6/18/2007

This bass sounds very nice for your money. I love the punch that it has on the low end as well as the tight plucks i can produce on the high end. You can be very molodic on this 4 stringer also. The 5 string is just as good. So if you are looking for a very good sound and your just starting out this is the bass to have. I love it. 5 Stars from me.

  • The most bass for your buck... period.

As reviewed by J-DUB on 1/14/2010

I am a musician embarking on a solo project. My main instrument is guitar and I play high-end ESP's, Gibsons, Fender Custom Shop, and Martin acoustic guitars. However, I also do lead vocals and play bass and drums. When the time came for me to actually buy a bass for recording purposes I took over a year to research and try out many basses. When it came down to it the Millennium AC BXP-4 had all the elements I needed and carried an incredible low price. On first glance the Tiger Eye finish which I bought has the look of a premium instrument. The hardware is top notch. The tuning machines are smooth and accurate and the bridge allows for multiple setups including string through body. The neck is fast and smooth with a nice satin finish. The electronics are the exact same as the much more expensive Peavey Cirrus models. These are dual ACTIVE VFL pickups with active three-band e.q. This bass has massive low-end and terrific articulation for rumbling to slap playing. It should also be noted that this was the bass of choice for John Campbell from Lamb of God before he developed his signature model. All things considered, this is the best deal on a high quality instrument in a simple and attractive package and professional features and response. Five stars.
