  • peavy practice amp

As reviewed by chris on 10/25/2009

If your looking for a small amp for practice, this is it. Ive started out on upright and about a year ago switched to electric and started with this. Its really clear and has a nice tube emulation feature(to make it short, distortion)which adds a nice boost in volume. however if you plan to gig or play in a band with this, dont even think about it. Its far to quiet, but for what it is, its excellent.

  • Practice Amp

This amp was exactly what I was looking for. It is small, light and convenient to haul out for practice. It probably would not work well for performances, but I haven't tried it anywhere but in my living room.

  • Peavey Max126 Bass Practice Combo

As reviewed by Michael McMurray on 12/31/2008

Great little bass amp!! I bought it for my son for Christmas. He is just learning. Boy, was I pleased with my purchase!! This little amp has a very nice sound and plenty of power for its size. I jammed on it and the tonality was very impressive. It is plenty for a beginner but more than that, it is also enough for the serious musician who wants an inexpensive but high quality amp to practice on where-ever they want without having to carry a big, heavy amp around. Great buy! Go get one!!
