A bass amp with tons of tone and plenty of power.

The MAX© 115 from Peavey packs a lot of punch into a compact, space-saving combo. Peavey's exclusive HyperVent technology pushes bass through specially designed ports that allow the woofer to perform at maximum efficiency. Its 60W of power drives a heavy-duty, custom-designed, 15" Peavey woofer to generate ample volume and punch.

Wide tonal range

Peavey's exclusive, patented TransTube© circuitry gives you a choice of 3 distinct voicings—MAX, Vintage, and Modern—for covering a wide range of sounds and music styles. A semi-parametric EQ adds further tone-shaping capability with low, mid, mid shift, and high controls.

An all-purpose amp

Perfect for most gigs, rehearsals, and with its CD input and headphone output, it's a great practice bass amp, too.

Peavey MAX 115 Bass Combo Features:

  • 60W RMS into 4 ohms
  • 15" speaker
  • DDT speaker protection
  • Gain control
  • Max/Modern/Vintage voicing switch with patented TransTube tube emulation circuitry
  • Low, Mid, Mid Shift and High semi-parametric EQ
  • Post-EQ effects loop
  • CD input
  • Master volume control
  • Tuned, ported enclosure with exclusive dual HyperVent technology
  • Headphone jack

This is The AMP

So I'm in the store looking at the amps for my new Fender Geddy Lee Jazz Bass. I ask the rep to get me a cord so I could plug in. Even with all the others playing, this amp cut right under the guitar madness with its nice deep sound. I recommend the Vintage setting for best results. This blew the pricier Ampege away. Nice job Peavy.

A good little amp!

I was looking for an amp with great tone, period. I'm not too worried about playing larger crowds as with a good PA setup you can always mic it. This amp is the PERFECT FIT for what I'm doing. At 60 watts, it's surprisingly powerful, yet keeps a clean tone. Gotta love it!

Speechless

I have had this amp for about two days and it has left me speechless. For only 60 watts, this thing is actually pretty loud. I cranked this baby all the way up and the whole house shook and even knocked a few things off a nearby table (not joking). It gives off a nice deep tone that is a must for all bass players. I have a Squier standard P bass and these two are the perfect pair. If you want an amp that is durable, loud, and at a decent price, then you absolutely cannot go wrong with this one. From now on, I'm sticking with Peavey. I highly recommend this to anyone who needs a good amp to use at small gigs and practice with. Keep up the good work Peavey.

Very impressed!

I was looking for a small bass amp for playing acoustic gigs when required. I recently purchased a Michael Kelly Firefly acoustic and when matched with this little amp, the tone blows me away. The rest of the band felt that I should leave my big fender rig at home from now on and play full electric gigs with the same little acoustic rig. I am very impressed!

Amazing!

This amp packs a very nice punch. I was looking for an amp that had a great chest pounding feel to it and i couldnt find it in another amp for less than $200. But i forked out the extra money for a better amp and thats what i got. It has a nice range from low-mid-shift-high controls. and can really keep a nice tone with all controls. It was more money for less power, but the quality is unbelievable
