  • Great portable amp

As reviewed by Brent Rhoton on 3/1/2013

Picked this amp up yesterday... I am a guitar player but do some bass work on the side. Needed a smaller combo rig for practice and maybe small gigs... After getting this thing home and really opening it up, great sound!! Easy to EQ... Definitely NOT lacking on volume.. Would have no issue with a group where drums are not miked... I play 5 string and it even does a good job of the low B, no it cannot play the fundamental but still seemed very balanced.. I have always loved Peavey equipment for it sturdiness.. Used their PA amps for years also have a rack mount tube guitar amp I used for years... Hopefully this amp will be the same for long term reliability..

  • Thumping with the best of them!

As reviewed by Kenneth Williamson on 10/3/2013

Just recently purchased this amp, and I have to say...AWESOME Thus far, this amp does everything is professes, and then some. When I play this at church, they feel my presence! Should I go bigger, I can plug directly into the main soundboard! How cool is that? I am still trying to master the chromatic tuner built into this unit. It is VERY sensitive to the touch, so I am still working on that. Over all, I am very please with this amp and have no trouble recommending this to anyone. Great bang for the buck!

  • Worth every penny!!!!!

As reviewed by KURT ETTERER on 3/8/2014

I don't want to ramble on and on detailing everything I love about this bass amp ... let me just say it's absolutely everything it advertises itself to be ... and more!!! I did quite a bit of comparison before buying my Max 112 ... it kicks out high quality sound (thanks in part to all on the on-board effects) ... and the power is off the charts!!! I could easily use this at any bar/tavern/pub/club performance ... and at the same time it's perfect for practicing at home without disturbing my neighbors ... best of both worlds!!! Check it out!
