As reviewed by Jim on 7/28/2011

This guitar sounds amazing and is my go to guitar for jazz and blues!!!!!!! It has such good playability and the higher frets are so easy to bend on!!!!!!!!! I've had no problems with this guitar and have had it over a year! I have the sunburst version and it looks way better then the picture!!!! The design looks stunning with the gold hardware! Looks like a thousand dollar guitar!!!!!!!!! The pickups are just amazing and capable of any tone!!!!!! If you evan considered buying this guitar go to a store and try it out!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

  • Good guitar for the Money

As reviewed by JF-1 Owner on 2/22/2007

I've owned many guitars and still do, been playing for over 25 years, and this is one of the easiest guitars to fret, and best sounding I've ever played. I've had the JF-1 for over a year, and it is my go-to guitar for jazz and some blues. I still love my Fender, but this is a great value.

  • NOT a waste of money.

As reviewed by Weskb on 1/9/2007

I've owned one of these (had to give it up). I have played better guitars, high dollars pretty boy axes but this one is just fine. The sound is wonderful and the action is great. The pickups had the power to do the job. As soon as I get my tax refund money in I'm getting another one. Don't expect ES-335 quality. But expect quality...well worth plenty more than $300. If you're even looking at this then you probably can't afford a Gibson anyway, unless you're just looking for a backup. Just buy it.
