Good Reliable Amp

I have owned this amp fpr a little over a year and it has been a reliable gig amp. It will run all day at 2 ohms (w/TVX210 ext cab) and never get hot. Typical Peavey reliability. With the big ported cab and 15" cast frame driver it can handle a low-B with ease. This amp has a lot of tone shaping ability with the High/Low sheving and a 7 band eq. It also has the ability to run the DI out pre or post eq, nice feature. the are also provisions for an out board cross over. The are lots of ins & outs on this very underated amp. The down side to this amp is that it doesn't have a tweeter and it's a larger ported cabinet. that means it does a nice "thick" sound but gets a little boomy in smaller rooms. It will do an "old school" tone nicely but isn't articulate ennough for nice clean jazz like tone. Adding the the Peavey TVX 210 cabinet really opens it up and makes it musch more articulate. The ability to run an extention cab and put out a loud 300 watts is this amps greatist asset.

Best combo on the market

The Peavey Combo 115 Bass Amp is on of the most feature packed combo amps I have ever come across. I have owned this amp for a little over a year and used it at gigs, large and small. The 15" speaker rattled the walls in every building i played in. No problem being heard on stage and in the crowd. You don't just hear the Peavey Combo 115, you feel it. Peavey makes nothing but quality gear and has been for years. You will not regret buying this amp.
