A lean tone machine.

Rhythm channel uses pre/post gain controls and bright/crunch switches. Lead channel has pre/post gain controls only. Footswitch included.

Insane Tone

First of all, this amp is loud. L O U D. "Bedroom" settings for this amp put the post gain at 0.5, max. In a nice, large practice space a post gain of 3 was a bit too loud. Awesome tone can still be dialed in at very low post gain by pumping the Presence and Resonance up a bit. When this thing is cranked up and the tubes really get warm you'll only need a Presence or Resonance of 3 or 4 max to get a screaming, thick tone that'll make everything else sound like pure crap. The sound that this thing produces completely destroys any marshall I've ever heard in person, and far surpasses any pedal I've ever heard or used. You won't need many, if any, effects to make this thing shred. TONE: clean, bluesy or pure metal are are attainable. You can easily produce tones similar to, or better than, Slayer or Chimaira (as examples).

Good for local shows

My guitar player just picked this up...IT is very LOUD. The effects aweful, BUT if you have a pedel board, you are good to go. We have used it to play several small to large venues and it gets the job done. Very impressed with peavey on this one
