I picked this bass pedal up from my local Guitar Center here in Atlanta and have been extremely pleased with it. Actually bought on a Thursday and played with it at a gig on Friday night. It didn't very long to adjust to it...very smooth action and you can really tweak / adjust it to your liking. I planned to buy a DW, but this just seemed like a better purchase for the money. Trust me - you won't be disappointed.

This was my first pedal, and for about a year, it was fine. however, as i got better at drums, and got into more complicated beats, i began to realize that this pedal is actually quite average, if not below average. i would not recommend it to anyone who has been playing drums. however, i would recommend it to anyone just starting to play, as it is quite cheap and it lasts quite a while. in conclusion, only buy if youre a beginner, as it will get the job done at first. but keep in mind that you WILL need to upgrade somewhere along the line.

Best out there for a starter

By Devin Smail

from Colorado Springs

For the price, you can't do any better. Beats the DW 2k as many others have said. Quite responsive, but can swing freely a good bit if you don't keep your foot on it. *Very* adjustable, and as I have gotten better and thought of replacing it, I've been able to simply readjust it and it works just fine. This won't be outgrown too quickly, but if you aren't a beginner you'll want to get something higher up.

geezerdrummer

I bought this pedal last week. I had 2 PDP pedal's I got them both in a Hardware package. I was happy with the Hardware except for the kick pedals. I bought the pearl pedal because I Had to have a dependable back up pedal. Yesterday I set it up after greaseing some of the moveable parts. I could'nt believe after turning the adjustment to make it tighter. It played almost like my Pearl Power-2000OC Power Shifter Eliminator. If you want a good pedal and not alot of money, get this pedal.

Excellent Choice!

By Dragon

from Jax, FL

You won't go wrong getting this pedal. Tried it side by side with the DW2000 and this one just felt far superior. Of everything in it's price range, and some much more expensive, this peddle is definitely one of the best. Very fast, very responsive. This pedal responds to every command very rapidly. Sturdy built strong construction, well worth every penny. I expect this to last for years and years.

Great pedal

By jm

from balto.,md.

I bought this pedal at Guitar Center about 1 yr. ago and played it out on about 20 gigs. The pedal is very responsive and sturdy. I've owned those pedals in the 2-300 dollar range and they all seem to be too springy or over engineered. This pedal is simple and easy to adjust and play. It reminds me of the Tama Camco chain drive of the early 80's. I've been playing for over 25 yrs. and would recommend this pedal for beginners to pros.

So many adjustments man!

By DANNY REIS

from San Jose, CA

I have two single pedal versions of these on my double bass set and they friggin' glide! They got a nice stability plate and are extremely responsive, you just got to tweak them right to your liking. I've tried demon pedals, axis pedals and they're good but not as good as these, I can play the ending part to "Becoming" on these pedals! If I can do that than I could play anything and so can YOU!
