The Pearl S2000/C Eliminator Snare Stand is art with an attitude! This is the most fantastic snare stand I have ever owned. The unidirectional adjustable snare basket makes it very easy to find the right tilt position for any player. The basket itself has ruler marked adjustable arms so you can set the correct size right out of the box. The tension adjustor below the basket rotates easily so that the backet grips the snare with as much tension as the player desires. Stand height is easily adjusted for high or low players. When I said attitude, that is what I meant! The stiletto spikes in the feet of the stand are retractable. When the spikes are out (for use on carpet) it would almost take a nuclear bomb to move the stand out of position! A real nice feature for those over active players that hit hard or bump things around. The retractable feature allows the rubber feat to be used for wood, tile, etc. This is a true "flagship" of snare stands. I love this thing and you will too! A serious piece of hardware. Highly recommended.

I have always used other brands and lower quality snare stands thinking that they are all the same thing. I found out I was wrong when I finally got my hands on this one. It is the most sturdy stand with great features.
