I LOVE IT!!!

I'm a HUGE fan of Chad Smith. I bought this snare pretty recently and man i gotta tell you, this snare owns! its got a great tone with the Remo CS head on top and Ambassador on bottom. Its so explosive, it cuts thru anything. Highly recommended, did i mention its a great buy for the price?

Amazing snare w/ great tone for price!

I had been looking for a long time to replace my 10" yamaha snare with something of a warmer tone. I don't usually go for signature series because I've found you often pay for the name not the quality, but with this snare I just had to take a closer look. As soon as it arrived in the mail, it played very impressively out of the box. I have a weird phobia of stock heads so I immediately switched to Aquarians which made an immense improvement. This snare has an amazing warmth and dexterity to it. It does detune rather easily but that isn't something that generally bothers me. All in all it's an amazing snare, perfect for the price. I recommend it to anyone looking to try something new, beginners and pros.

Chad smith pearl snare drum

I am a huge fan af the red hot chili peppers music. I've always loved the sound of chad's snare drum. This is a way to have that sound on your set. This drum has a very bright sound to it. The snare is real responive, and it gives off a great sound. This drum is a must have for any drummer who wants the nice chad smith sounding snare drum.
