  First of all, I ordered this product but got it with brass on the inside, not steel, like what the picture shows. But that isn't really important. What's important is that it gives you new freedoms when playing guitar. It is a little hard to get the hang of when your used to slides that cover your whole finger. But once you get the hang of it you can use it for a some new techniques. When I use it I can play normal with all of my fingers and then instantly switch to the slide and play some slide licks. For me I can only play on the first two strings with it when I keep my hand in the same position. But I can also adjust my hand so I can play on the third and fourth string. The downfall is that you can't really play on the sixth and fifth string with it. But it allows you to play some simple slide licks in a way you couldn't before. To me it opens up some possibilities, if you like to experiment with new things like this then I guarantee it. One quip though, the glass on the outside of it is cracking a little, it's minor but it may cause problems latter.
