Supreme resonance from a streamlined tonal monster.
The PRS SE Single Cut features a gorgeous bookmatched, heavily flamed maple veneer (on transparent-finish models) on a maple top and mahogany back. This tried-and-true wood combination produces great resonance with bold bottom end, enhanced by the wraparound stop tailpiece/bridge for direct transfer of string vibration. PRS-designed humbuckers turn all that resonance into nearly endless sustain. Moon fretboard inlays and natural maple top binding add a little PRS flair.
Paul Reed Smith SE Single Cut Electric Guitar Features:
- Flamed maple top
- Mahogany back
- Mahogany neck
- Rosewood fretboard
- PRS-designed humbuckers
- Wide, fat neck carve

Craftmenship returns to affordable Guitars!
I am the proud new owner of a PRS SE Singlcut, and I am so pleased I can hardly contain myself. At 45 years old, I have seen and played every guitar made over last half centery. I've owned LesPauls and Strats always as my foundation instruments. This guitar has made me feel more inspired to "just play," than I have felt since I was a 19 year old in a hot-shot LA rock band in the late seventies and eighties. Man, thank you for this beautiful guitar PRS, I am a happy musician again. The only difference from the top notch PRS is the cosmetics and some hardware, but make no mistake, these are "real PRS" instruments, believe me, it'sa true!

Amazing cheap PRS
This Paul Reed Smith SE Single Cut is simply amazing. I was one of those people who were suddenly hyptnotized and in awe of the "birds in flight" inlays of high end PRS's. However, as a college student, I didn't have the money to purchase one of those guitars. Instead, i bought this SE instead. Even the lowest end of PRS guitars shows the quality that PRS puts into their guitars. This guitar was immaculate in every which way. Paint job was stunning, tone and sound were surprising good. I had to do a simple action setup however, but once that was done, this guitar was one of the greatest values I've ever gotten. I would definitely buy another PRS SE.

Great value
While not having some of the features of the much more expensive singlecut, it is missing nothing in playablity. I own a couple of PRS guitars, all way more expensive. Yet it's the first one I pick up, and the last one I put away.
Great action, very good tone & sustain. Also beautiful to look at. A great value....

I bought one of these about two weeks ago. All I can say is, Wow! I am mainly a strat player, but have also owned american made les pauls, and paul reed smiths. I wanted to get a les paul/set neck mahagony type guitar just for variety. This is a great alternative to spending 2K or more on a Gibson or real PRS. I am using the stock pickups and they sound quite good. I am of course tempted to replace them with Gibson, Seymour Duncan, or PRS pickups just because this would supposedly sound better. When i play this guitar next to my American strats, it fits right in sound quality and tone wise. I don't feel like it is an inferior instrument and for giving me more variety it is just awesome for the price.

Tons Of Tone
Talk about wonderful versatility WOW! Finally a quality guitar for the budget minded masses. Great workmanship, Great looks, and a tone that's as sweet as molasses. Built out of warm Mahogany, with a Maple cap topped with a nice flame veneer for those shimmering highs this guitar fits all styles of music. Wether you play Jazz, Blues or the newer heavy styles this PRS has it covered. The pickups are top notch for a guitar in this price range and the factory set up is as pleasurable as it's appearance. If your looking for quality, Playability, and affordability this should be your weapon of choice. Great Job PRS !!!
