This guitar is an incredible musical tool. It came perfectly set up with no buzzing or intonation problems. The neck is super-thin, action light and fast. Huge tonal variation, you can play any musical style. It weighs less than 5 pounds! The upper horn hits your chest when playing seated, not a problem for me. The quality of the paint and finish is perfect and is still scratch free. The controls are laid out in a logical way and I was able to play a gig the first night I bought it, using the midi control is intuitive, switching from acoustic to out of phase strat type sounds to full-on Humbucker fat all made sense. I have been using it exclusively for 4 months now. The tone is so precise and articulate it makes my other guitars sound like there is a pillow over the speaker. A revolutionary improvement of the electric guitar with it's own modern look but totally soulful sound.
The Parker Fly Mojo is known for its light weight, fast action, and excellet playability. In my 30+ yrs of playing guitars, I believe the Fly Mojo plays at least equally well as the absolute very best guitars I have ever played. The carbon glass fretboard and SS frets are so smooth and when combined with the thin neck and light weight, it makes for hours of easy play. Other more subtle features - the body is a piece of art - sculpted to fit your body and to be well balanced sitting or standing. A lot of thought and experimentation had to have gone into the Fly's body and neck design. It just fits - what more can I say. The controls are precise and tight and well laid out. The Midi controls are intuitive and quick to learn. Now - saving the best for last - the tone - what marvelous tone. The Seymour Duncans and Fishman Piezo electronics system allow you to play an extremely wide range of styles. The power and punch causes other guitarists to stop, look and ask for a turn. Combined with my '65 reissue Twin Reverb, the tones are intoxicating. With respect to the Midi, I chose the Midi because I am experimenting with guitar synths. I purchased a Roland GR-55 with my Fly Mojo Midi and could not be happier. In closing I confess that I have not picked up my Strat since getting my Fly Mojo and am glad that I sold my LP. They seem so primitive in comparison to my Parker Fly Mojo Midi.
